Cindy Lam majored in cello performance with the highly reputable cellist Anthea Scott-Mitchell at the University of Newcastle, Australia, for her bachelor's degree in music, graduating in 2008. Cindy has a wide range of stage experience; her signature performance included one of the pieces in her recital, "The Suite for Cello and Jazz Piano Trio, Romantique," with the most famous jazz pianist, Terrance Koo, in NSW for her recital in Newcastle, Australia, in 2008. She has been very active in the Hong Kong music field since relocating back to Hong Kong. Cindy is a cellist in the Hong Kong Chamber Orchestra, Hong Kong Festival Orchestra, Global Symphony Orchestra, Ponte Orchestra, and Hong Kong Symphonia. She was invited to be the principal of the cello section in Yundi Li's world tour concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum. The China Music Festival in Shanghai.
