Cheong is now the strings teacher of the Macau Youth Symphony Orchestra, Macau Baptist College , Chan Sui Ki Perpetual Help College, and Colegio De Santa Rosa de Lima (English secondary). Cheong is also the conductor of Macau Baptist College Orchestra, Colegio De Santa Rosa de Lima (English secondary) strings orchestra and the assistant conductor of Macau University of Science & Technology Orchestra.
