Zhao Yingna currently holds the position of Principal Second Violin of the HK Phil, and she is also a member of the HK Phil String Quartet. Yingna is the instructor of “The Orchestra Academy” (TOA) based on a collaboration between the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and the HKPhil. She has conducted masterclasses with the talented students of TOA in numerous occasions. and she has many times given masterclasses to these talented students. Furthermore, she has been invited as an instructor to the “Young Pro Platform”, where she teaches and performs with the students in many renown chamber music concerts. She is extremely dedicated to nourishing the next talented generation in their orchestral and chamber music careers.

Yingna has been invited to 2022 Singapore Raffles International Music Festival as one of the Violin Jury members, and she will also teach a series of open masterclasses for the winning talents. In 2018, the Hong Kong Generation Next Arts Music Festival invited Yingna to perform in the Mendelssohn String Octet Concert, which received critical acclaim. In addition, Yingna has been invited multiple times to perform as Guest Principal Second Violin with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.

Prior to coming to Hong Kong, Yingna attended the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin where she received both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. While in Germany, she was the Assistant Principal Second Violin of the Orchestra of the German Opera Berlin. She was also Tutti Violin of the German Symphony Orchestra Berlin (DSO) and the Saarbrücken Radio Symphony Orchestra. In 2005, she was appointed concertmaster and soloist of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival Orchestra, which collaborated with world-renowned conductors such as Christoph Eschenbach, Christopher Hogwood, Herbert Blomstedt, Ivan Fischer, and Mikhail Pletnev, on tours to Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Italy, France, Spain, Russia, Brazil, and Japan.

Yingna was a first prize winner of the International Violin Competition "Andrea Postacchini” in Italy.  She also won the “Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben” of Hamburg, for which she was awarded a Carlo Guiseppe Testore violin from the German Music Instruments Foundation.

Yingna attended the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing under Professor Yaoji Lin.  She was awarded the prize of excellence in the 3^rd Violin Competition in Central Conservatory of Music and the silver prize in the 1^st China France Mido Violin Competition. She appeared as a soloist performing under the baton of the famous Chinese conductor Delun Li, and she also performed with the Beijing Symphony Orchestra under Hui Zhu. Her debut recording included a highly commented performance of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.

趙瀅娜現為香港管弦樂團首席第二小提琴，並擔任香港管弦樂團弦樂四重奏成員。同時於香港演藝學院與港樂合作的「管弦樂精英訓練計劃」中擔任導師。趙瀅娜曾多次獲香港演藝學院邀請舉辦大師班公開課，同時也受邀香港演藝學院「音樂新晉薈萃」計劃中擔任導師並帶領學員參與多場重奏音樂會，受到廣大師生和觀眾喜愛，用滿腔熱情培養著新一代的傑出樂隊及室內樂人才。

2022年趙瀅娜獲新加坡萊佛士國際青少年藝術節邀請，擔任小提琴比賽評委，並成功舉辦獲獎學員大師班公開課。2018年獲香港新世代藝術協會音樂節邀請，演奏孟德爾遜弦樂八重奏音樂會。此外，趙瀅娜曾多次獲新加坡交響樂團邀約，擔任客座首席第二小提琴。

在此之前，她就讀於柏林漢斯艾斯勒音樂學院並獲得音樂學士和碩士學位。在德國期間，曾任柏林德意志歌劇院助理首席第二小提琴，以及柏林德意志交響樂團和薩爾布呂肯廣播交響樂團成員。2005年，她首次獲委任為石荷州節慶管弦樂團團長及獨奏樂師，與世界知名指揮家合作，包括：艾遜巴赫、賀格活特、布隆斯泰德、費沙爾、普雷特涅夫等，並在德國、匈牙利、荷蘭、意大利、法國、西班牙、俄羅斯、巴西、日本巡演。

趙瀅娜曾榮獲意大利安德烈亞．鮑思達契尼（Andrea Postacchini）國際小提琴比賽金獎，以及德國漢堡德意志音樂基金會（Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben）頒發由德國樂器基金會送贈的卡洛．朱塞佩．泰斯托雷小提琴。

趙瀅娜曾就讀北京中央音樂學院附中，師從著名小提琴教育家林耀基教授；期間榮獲中央音樂學院第三屆小提琴比賽優異獎以及第一屆中法米多比賽銀獎。曾應指揮大師李德倫先生邀請擔任獨奏。與著名指揮家朱暉先生携北京交響樂團演出擔任獨奏。曾錄製名為《韋華第四季》的首張唱片，好評如潮。
