香港著名鋼琴家 - 文芷齡 Man Tse Ling
Ling has extensive experience as a pianist, having performed in various countriessuch as the United Kingdom, China, and Hong Kong. She hold a master's degreein music from the Royal Northern College of Music and was awarded a LTCLRecital Diploma with distinction. She also received the RNCM Scholarship and theReggie and Ann Dennis Award. In 2022, She completed her PGCEI in University ofNottingham.
She has performed in various concerts and ensembles, including eight-handpiano at a HKBU Horizon concert and Staff Concert in WAIS, guest accompanistwith the Hong Kong Chamber Wind Philharmonic, Halle Choral Academy andBuxton International Festival, a member of the Asian Youth Orchestra chorus,Orchestral pianist at RNCM Children Opera Engagement Project and SummerConcert in ZhongWu Hotel.
Aside from being a performing pianist, she has also worked as a music therapyassistant at The Hong Kong Society for the Deaf, an accompanist teacher in theInternational Christian Quality Music Secondary and Primary School, and asubtitle operator for Musica Viva. She has also undertaken volunteer work at theBooth Centre for the Homeless in Manchester, worked as a concert usher andpage turner at the RNCM, and as a Student Intern by Buxton Opera House.
In 2018, Ling was employed as Music and Piano teacher at Wycombe AbbeyInternational School. She was responsible for individual piano teaching,accompaniment for ABRSM candidates, student assembly, and their GCSE musicrecording. In 2020, under her leadership in the piano faculty as a Head ofKeyboard, she established piano ensemble training and accompanimentcoaching for students. She has also successfully organized an online pianomasterclass under the limitation of the pandemic.
Currently, Ling is working at Harrow International School Hong Kong. At the sametime, She is serving as a Planning and Coordinating Committee of Hong KongPiano Duo Association. She also has collaborated with Hong Kong BaptistUniversity, offering ear training mentorship programs to associated degreestudents, and occasionally giving talks in the bachelor music studies assembly.
