施坦威藝術家，活躍於表演、作曲及教學。现任香港演藝學院、香港中文大學及香港浸會大學鋼琴系導師，擔任多個鋼琴比賽評委。曾被有線電視「拉近文化」節目中列入香港十大青年音樂家之一。於2014-2016年主持香港電台第四台節目「英國皇家聯合委員會鋼琴考試講座」。 郭氏曾應多個樂團邀請擔任獨奏演出，抱括歐柏林室樂管弦樂團、香港城市室樂團、香港愛樂管樂團、香港節慶管弦樂團、新疆愛樂樂團及南京愛樂樂團。2000年起，她與鋼琴家許寧成立「諄意四手」(YouTube/Facebook:HKDuo)。2012年開始也與長笛家胡永彥成合奏伙伴。 現為華人女作曲家協會成員的郭品文曾應康樂及文化事務署邀請為香港文化中心20和30周年及香港大會堂60周年慶典音樂會創作大型鋼琴合奏作品。她為青少年寫的《小詩的奇幻旅程》成為多個鋼琴比賽中的指定曲目 。

As a Steinway Artist being active in performance, composition and music education, Julie is currently a piano faculty member at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Baptist University, serving as jury in many local and international piano competitions. She had been featured as one of the Top Ten Young Hong Kong Musicians in the Cable TV program “Close to Culture”. In 2014-2016, she was invited by the RTHK radio 4 to host the program “Piano Exam”. She had appeared as soloist with Oberlin Chamber Orchestra, the City Chamber of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Wind Philharmonia, the Hong Kong Festival Orchestra, the Nanjing Philharmonic Orchestra and the Xinjiang Philharmonic Orchestra. She co-founded “HK Duo” with pianist Hui Ling (YouTube/Facebook: HKDuo) and has also kept regular collaboration with flautist Matthew Wu. Being a member of the Chinese Woman Composers’ Association, Julie has been commissioned to write piano ensemble pieces for celebratory events like the 20 th and 30 th Anniversary of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and the 60 th Anniversary of the Hong Kong City Hall. Her piano album for the young “The Fantasy of Little C” has been chosen as set pieces in several piano competitions.
