蘇明村畢業於英國倫敦皇家音樂學院學習鋼琴及管風琴。其後獲倫敦大學音樂學士學位，列定大學音樂碩士學位及高級音樂研究文憑，英國列斯特大學博士學位，及香港理工大學中國文化碩士學位。 蘇氏多年活躍于樂壇¸ 除在中國多個城市演出外，還被邀請到外地，包括英國、以色列、比利時、澳洲、加拿大、美國、日本、馬來西亞及臺灣多個城市演出。鋼琴演奏曲目廣泛， 除古典經典作品外， 還致力推廣近代作品，當中包括多首首演作品的演出。 蘇明村曾與多個音樂團體合作，包括北京天愛合唱團、高雄市漢聲合唱團、香港聖樂團、明儀合唱團、長風合唱團、學士合唱團、德望學校合唱團、菁薈雅頌、香港兒童合唱團、澳門室內樂團和高雄市交響樂團等。他曾任香港教育大學文化與創意藝術學系助理教授多年，現任香港音樂專科學校校監，中國中山市文聯文藝培訓中心藝術顧問，中國廣東省雲安縣前鋒鎮音樂教學顧問，平凡雅樂(廣西)音樂中心顧問，香港國際音樂家協會香港區副主席，及天主教香港教區聖樂委員會副主席。 

Allison So graduated from the Royal College of Music in London. He obtained the Bachelor of Music from University of London, Master of Music and Diploma in Advanced Music Studies from University of Reading, Master of Art in Chinese Culture from HK Polytechnic University, and Doctor of Education from University of Leicester. In the music field, apart from his busy schedule as soloist, accompanist and choral conductor in Hong Kong, Mr. So had performed widely in many cities in China, United Kingdom, Israel, Belgium, Australia, Canada, Malaysia and Taiwan. His performances include works of a wide range and he is keen in promoting contemporary music with a number of premier performances. Dr So had conducted various choral groups and orchestras, including Tien Ai Chorus (Beijing), Han Sing Chorus (Kaohsiung), Good Hope School Choir, Allegro Singers, Cheng Feng Chorus, Learners Chorus, Festive Chamber, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Hong Kong Children’s Choir, Macau Chamber Orchestra and Kaohsiung City Symphony Orchestra. He was Assistant Professor at The Education University of Hong Kong for many years. At present, he is the supervisor of the Hong Kong Music Institute, Supervisor of the Hong Kong Music Institute, Artistic Advisor of Centre of Culture and Art in Zhongshan, Music Advisor of the YunOn County Education Bureau, Guangdong Province, Music Advisor of The Ordinary Chamber Music Education Centre in Liuzhou, Guangxi Province, China, vice-chairman of Hong Kong International Musician Association - Hong Kong Region, and vice-chairman of the Sacred Music Commission of the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong.
