Lillian Kong continued her study at École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot under the tutelage of Emmanuel Ceysson after graduating from Hong Kong Baptist University. Her principle teachers include Dan Yu, Yi-wen Kuang and Michelle Abbott. She also went for an exchange semester with scholarship at Ball State University (USA) and studied under Elizabeth Richter.　Kong has performed solo concerts and played with numerous chamber groups, orchestras and choirs in France, USA and Hong Kong.
