孫圉，中提琴家，1983年出生於上海。他曾任職德國萊比錫布商大廈管弦樂團和香港管弦樂團首席中提琴。 自小學習小提琴，後進入上海音樂學院隨沈西蒂教授學習中提琴演奏。從上音畢業後，孫圉繼續到歐洲深造。他於 2004年在馬德里的索菲亞皇后音樂學院跟隨Rainer Schmidt教授學習室內樂演奏。2006年起在柏林Hanns Eisler 音樂學院，在中提琴名家Tabea Zimmermann教授的領導下學習，獲得中提琴博士學位。在校學習期間，他在柏林愛樂樂團擔任客席演奏家。2010- 2012年，孫圉在慕尼黑巴伐利亞廣播交響樂團擔任中提琴家，2013年至2014年年在瑞士巴塞爾交響樂團任職首席中提琴。孫圉熱衷於室內樂演奏。他曾在德國，意大利，瑞士，中國和韓國開室內樂 音樂會。作為獨奏家， 孫圉曾與北京國家大劇院管弦樂團合作演出， 並與柏林音樂廳管弦樂團成功演出Paul Hindemith的中提琴協奏曲Der Schwanendreher。

Yu Sun has worked as Principal violist in world leading orchestras such as Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig, Basel Symphony Orchestra and Hong Kong Philharmonic. Sun began his music studies at 4 on the violin and at the age of 15, he was admitted to the Affiliated Middle School of Shanghai Conservatory of Music with viola. Three years later he entered Shanghai Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Professor Xi-Di Shen. After his graduation from SCM, Sun subsequently went to further his studies at Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid with Professor Rainer Schmidt. From 2006, he continued his studies in Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin under the tutelage of Professor Tabea Zimmermann. In 2009 he received his Master Degree and later, the Artist Diploma. Between 2007-2009, he worked at Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra with world leading conductors and toured throughout Europe. Sun served in Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra as a viola tutti since 2010 before he entered Basel Symphony Orchestra in Switzerland as principal viola in Jan 2013. Sun also played as guest principal viola at the Hamburg State Opera/Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra. Sun is also an active chamber music player. He has performed in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, China and Korea. As a soloist, Sun performed with the China National Centre for Performing Arts Orchestra and the Berlin Concert Hall Orchestra. Sun coached Asian Youth Orchestra between 2016-18. Since 2018 Sun teaches at Melos Music Ltd Hong Kong and strings faculty at Haw Par Music Hong Kong since 2019.
